Travian is Fun Stuff for Passing Time

Okay, so I found a game, and it’s not the best game ever, but it’s pretty good for a browser game. It’s one of those simple ones, but with room to grow.
Kind of like the early Civilization and Civilization 2 games.
It’s called Travian.
I wish I had an open source model of something similar to build off of, I do love things like this.
Only thing that really grinds my gears is that they offered paid bonus features…but I guess it’s a price to pay if you don’t have ads to support yourself.

I love how you talk about Travian all nonchalantly, but it’s my favorite game! I spend hours a day, sneaking glances at the little villages between work projects. I bet you have met people on this Travian, that you would even consider friends (I know I have).
